Creator Partnerships Manager
San Francisco
Who we are
Til is the creativity social network. We’re building the destination for live interactive video, where passionate people go to connect, create, and have fun reaching their full potential.
We’re starting by building a social marketplace where creators teach fans in weekly live classes. There are more than 50 million creators, and most of them struggle to get by with their following alone. We’re changing that so that more people can make a living doing what they love. The average creator on Til makes over $500 per hour of teaching every week, and we hope to grow that number over time.
Since launching our first classes in late 2021, we’ve seen great traction and recently closed a seed round led by Craft Ventures with participation from folks like Ryan Tedder, Kevin Lin (Twitch cofounder), and Gokul Rajaram (Coinbase, DoorDash).
Your role
The Go-to-Market team at Til is responsible for the growth of our student and teacher base and expansion into new class categories.
We're looking for our first Creator Partnerships Manager to help us expand our marketplace by growing teachers on the platform. You’ll focus on identifying target creators, recruiting them to teach, and growing the creator community for existing and upcoming class categories. You’ll have an incredible amount of autonomy and ownership in this role.
We're looking for an execution-oriented entrepreneurial spirit who is motivated by the opportunity to build an iconic consumer product that will shape the future of creativity.
What you'll do
- Ensure success of the music production category on Til.
- Attract and build partnerships with music producers, influencers, YouTubers, and teachers.
- Negotiate and secure creative deals with influencers or key ecosystem players.
- Build and pursue a pipeline of creators and teachers in the music production and guitar categories.
- Develop a tiered strategy for partnerships; focusing on a handful of high impact, bespoke creator partnerships while maintaining a consistent stream of scalable active teachers.
- Manage ongoing relationships and day-to-day communications with key teachers.
- Educate and support teachers to ensure their success and growth on Til.
- Stay close to creators and students in the ecosystem to understand their needs and provide the product team with key user insights and problems to solve.
- Build and develop Go-to-Market playbooks and documentation.
- Partner with Community Marketing to build a healthy marketplace of students in the vertical.
- Have the time of your life being part of something bigger than yourself.
You may be a good fit if…
- You have experience working in a business development / partnerships / sales-facing role. Experience at a high-growth startup, creator-focused platform, or marketplace is a plus.
- You have experience building and executing against a pipeline of targets.
- You are scrappy and flexible enough to work in a fast-paced startup environment with limited guidance, and are comfortable pivoting quickly as needed.
- You are a strategic and creative thinker who can turn research and data into actionable plans.
- You’re detail oriented and stay meticulously organized with tools like Salesforce, Hubspot, Google Suite.
- You’re hungry to win and enjoy the hustle. Time is our most valuable resource, and to build something world-changing will require moving uncomfortably fast.
- Are comfortable working exceptionally fast in an ambiguous work environment.
- You’re excited to learn and do the best work of your life.
Nice to have
- Marketplace, live video, or social experience
- An existing network of creators within a Til product category.
- Data skills including strength with SQL
- Passion for creator communities and/or existing Til product categories (e.g. music production).
